I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Government and National Security from Tiffin University, where I gained valuable hands-on experience through an internship at a detective’s office. In addition to my academic background, I hold a long list of certifications in intelligence, security, and leadership, which have further sharpened my skills and prepared me for a range of professional challenges. My diverse background spans military service, education, and security, and I’ve had the opportunity to apply the knowledge and expertise from each field in various roles.

I’ve served in the U.S. Army for 12 years—starting as a combat engineer and currently working in intelligence. Throughout my military career, I’ve gained certifications and practical experience that have strengthened my leadership, security, and critical thinking skills. My service has taken me to several countries, including France, Italy, Hungary, and the U.K., and my experiences living in Florence, Italy, and participating in operations in Budapest, Hungary, have greatly expanded my global perspective and adaptability.

In education, I began as a substitute teacher in Orlando, Florida, four years ago, and during this time, I had the opportunity to serve as a long-term substitute teacher for Algebra 2. This experience gave me a deeper understanding of curriculum and student engagement across subjects. After that, I transitioned into my role as an English Language Arts (ELA) teacher. Throughout my time in the classroom, I’ve leveraged my military leadership experience and certifications to foster a positive learning environment, support student growth, and enhance academic achievement. Before teaching, I worked as a security guard for a federal building, further developing my understanding of security management and crisis response.

Now, as I transition into the role of principal, I bring my extensive certifications, leadership experience, and a deep commitment to fostering a student-centered culture. My journey across military, educational, and security fields has equipped me to lead with adaptability, strategic thinking, and a focus on creating an environment where both students and staff can thrive.
